Responsible for monitoring, adjusting and applying best practice inventory management methodology for Froedtert Health Inventory. Regularly reviews reorder points and quantities to meet fill rate and inventory turn goals. Proactively adds and removes items to and from inventory. Collaborates with the Product Conversion team on inventory items to minimize supply disruptions to the organization. Identifies need to expedite or bring in alternate supply based on product availability. Proactively seeks out bulk buy opportunities to provide cost savings to the organization. Works with end users during on-boarding and beyond to instill best practice ordering habits throughout the system. Other duties as assigned.
A minimum of one year of supply chain or inventory analyst experience is required. Prior experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Plan. A Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in a supply chain is preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and Supply Chain work experience may be substituted for formal education. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Excellent computer skills required, including Microsoft Word & Excel. Skilled at negotiations. Excellent verbal and written skills. MMIS applications familiarity. Experience with the Lawson Materials Management System is preferred.
