Job Purpose
To educate colleagues and foster an environment that mitigates risk, reduces loss, and protects company assets while maintaining a safe and secure workplace for both clients and employees, without detracting from the luxury customer experience.
This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day protection of company’s assets and executing asset protection strategies through the management of internal teams and external service providers. The position works closely with UK partners, Global Insurance, Legal, and third-party vendors to ensure compliance with insurance requirements for off-site events, manage loss reporting, coordinate claims, and support overall risk management initiatives. Additionally, the role ensures the effective implementation of security, safety, and operational controls across the retail portfolio.
Lead and manage the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards at WOSG. Utilize in-depth knowledge of OSHA requirements to establish and maintain safe and environmentally sound workplaces in retail locations and corporate offices. Provide guidance on risk mitigation, promote culture of safety, and implement best practices to protect colleagues and the environment.
Oversee the facilities management function across the entire U.S. portfolio, ensuring all retail locations, corporate offices, and distribution facilities are maintained to company and brand standards. Responsible for ensuring that all physical environments are safe, compliant, efficient, and aligned with organizational objectives while supporting an exceptional client and colleague experience.
Lead the development/execution of facilities strategies that support operational excellence, cost efficiency, business continuity, and long-term growth. Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure the effective maintenance, repair, and optimization of all facilities assets.
Play a key role in supporting the company's continued expansion within the U.S. market by collaborating with the Store Development team on new store construction, remodels, relocations, and real estate projects. Provide leadership and subject matter expertise related to physical security, life safety, and facility infrastructure requirements, ensuring all new locations are designed and delivered in accordance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
Leveraging your extensive Asset Protection and leadership skill set, you will act as support to the Director or Retail Operations, providing consultative partnership to solve challenges related to Asset Protection, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Facilities.
Qualifications and Experience
BA degree or equivalent
5 years of leading Asset Protection function, preferably in luxury retail
5-10 total years of experience in related positions (e.g., security, internal audit, health & safety, facilities maintenance, etc.).
Excellent planning, multi-tasking in fast paced environment, and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Sound judgement with ability to make quick, informed decisions.
Strong Computer skills, Web Navigation, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
SAP experience preferred (or other enterprise level ERP system)
Knowledge of Inventory control process for planning, execution and reconciliation
Knowledge of POS Exception reporting and procedures
Previous experience with Security/Asset Protection affiliated equipment (C.C.T.V/Alarm Systems) is strongly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with all levels of management.
Excellent leadership skills imperative to the position.
Ability to prioritize projects in order of importance is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Ability to work flexible schedules based on business needs which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to travel to retail showrooms and boutiques on a regular basis.
