Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients in their home, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client care
Skills:
- Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and systems
- Proficient in medical documentation
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients
- Strong patient care skills, including catheter care if necessary
- Familiarity with home care procedures and protocols
