Summary: Under the Operations direction, the individual is responsible for plant preventative and real-time maintenance. This is an active search for two mechanics, one full time in Williams, CA and the other in Dunnigan, CA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Perform both preventative and regular maintenance as instructed
· Inspect, operate, or test machinery and/or equipment to diagnose malfunctions
· Perform maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems of building
· Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools
· Clean and/or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of equipment
· Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
· Assist in maintaining inventory records for equipment supplies
· Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
· Run diagnostic tests to ensure equipment functionality
Additional Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following.
§ Assist office, production, quality, sanitation, and other personnel as needed.
§ Corporate in company programs such as the recognition program.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Additional Requirements: Must be willing to learn new processes as needed while being a strong team player in a positive environment.
Language Skills: Ability to understand verbal instructions and written documents such as safety rules, labels, MSDS, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to understand, read and write English in order to document results on forms and logs.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all measure units, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to apply common understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing, oral, or diagram form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None.
Other Qualifications: Must be able to work rotating shifts, including night shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing this job's duties, the employee must regularly walk, stand, and bend throughout the shift. Occasionally, the employee will need to position themself to perform proper sanitation procedures and assist in the final packaging assembly. The employee may need to lift or move items weighing no more than 50 pounds while using safe lifting procedures as instructed. The employee will need to communicate with all staff. This job's specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will operate in an industrial production environment. The employee will be exposed to loud noise and moving machinery. Ear protection will be available.
