About B Cool Counseling: B Cool Counseling is dedicated to providing accessible, client-centered therapeutic services to individuals navigating stress, anxiety, and relationship challenges. We emphasize mindfulness, emotional regulation, and effective communication strategies to support our clients’ mental health journeys.
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Therapist or Intern to join our growing team. This role involves providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions, developing personalized treatment plans, and supporting clients in achieving their mental health goals. Our office is located in South Jordan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions.
- Assess clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Utilize techniques such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, and communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or currently enrolled in a graduate program) in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, etc.) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
- Experience with mindfulness or emotional regulation techniques is a plus.
