Qualifications:
- Current Missouri special education teaching certification is required; candidates fully licensed in another state with pending Missouri licensure will also be considered.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Experience working with students in resource, co-teaching, or self-contained settings is highly beneficial.
- Passionate commitment to helping every student achieve their fullest potential.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver instruction tailored to meet individual student IEP goals.
- Engage in close collaboration with general and special education staff, administrators, and families.
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reporting.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching approaches for various learning abilities.
