Wrightway Inc is a small business in Kansas City, MO. Our goal is to Provide Quality Workmanship in Maintaining a Clean Passenger Boarding Bridge at The New KCI Airport. We have several positions available full and part time. All position will require a background check due to work being assigned to a secured area. In the event you've committed a felony crime in the last 10 years you may not need to apply. Reliable transportation is a must. We will provide, training, uniforms, supplies and equipment. This position is responsible for the general maintenance of the passenger boarding bridges. The ideal candidate has a background in industrial and public work, including general maintenance, cleaning of glass, flooring, must be comfortable working with cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment. While a high attention to detail is important, above all else we are looking for a cultural fit with a positive attitude and a willingness to give quailty workmanship. Applicant's must be able to pass a backgroung check with no felony convictions within a 10 year period due to work duties being in a secured area of the airport as well as random drug testing may apply.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the Passenger Boarding Bridges clean and safe from hazards.
- Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping floors, cleaning glass etc.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify any hazards to the health or safety of workers or visitors.
- Respond to minor emergencies that require immediate action in order to protect members and guests (examples: debris on the flooring, spills, foreign objects, etc..
- Maintain security in the secured area by reporting unbadged suspicious persons to security staff.
- Answer questions/provide directions and give directions to employees/members/guests.
