Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Assistant Manager/ Floral Designer person to join our team. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. If you have a passion for flowers ,are social media savvy and have a keen eye for design, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements with both Fresh cut flowers as well as Dried and Preserved.
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect florals for their needs
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or issues
- Maintain inventory of flowers and other floral supplies
- Ensure that all floral arrangements are properly cared for and maintained
- Keep work area and showroom clean and organized
- Process cash/ credit card transactions accurately
Experience:
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage
- Familiarity with retail sales and cash handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create visually appealing arrangements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Skills:
- Proficiency in floral design techniques and knowledge of different flower varieties
-Social media savvy capturing and sharing photos of our beautiful flowers.
- Retail experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to sell products and upsell additional items or services to customers
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and point-of-sale system
-Computer skills to assist with inventory management and order processing
