We are seeking a skilled and proactive Construction Project Manager to oversee all aspects of construction projects, from initial planning through implementation and completion. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your expertise in construction project management will play a pivotal role in the success of our projects. This position requires up to 25% travel to project sites and client meetings as necessary.
Job Overview
As a Construction Project Manager, you will coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This includes planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects align with plans, meet regulatory standards, and achieve the desired outcomes.
This is a mid-level position requiring strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The ability to travel for site visits and stakeholder coordination—approximately 25% of the time—is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee and coordinate construction projects from concept to completion
· Manage project schedules, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery
· Primary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
· Resolve work delays, emergencies, and other challenges efficiently
· Ensure tasks and subtasks are completed on time and according to specifications
· Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and related materials
· Collaborate with internal departments and teams to ensure project success
· Interpret and explain contracts, technical information, and project requirements to stakeholders
· Monitor project progress, budgets, and reporting on key performance indicators
· Travel up to 25% of the time to project sites and client meetings as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role
· Comprehensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
· Ability to effectively plan and maintain a "big-picture" perspective
· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
· Outstanding communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
· Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities
· Familiarity with general building codes and industry standards
· Experience with construction management software; Salesforce knowledge is a plus
· Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and drawings
· Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Capability to work independently and as part of a team
· Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
· An associate degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred
