About the Role
As a Lead Structural Fabricator, you will play a pivotal role in our production team by transforming raw steel into high-precision components for complex electrical infrastructure. You will utilize your expertise in blueprint interpretation and metal fabrication to ensure every assembly meets rigorous quality standards, directly impacting the integrity of our finished equipment.
Responsibilities-
Interpret complex structural drawings to guide the precise layout and assembly of steel components.

Execute the fitting of channels, I-beams, and plates to meet exacting design specifications.

Operate advanced fabrication machinery, including band saws, grinders, and cutting torches, to prepare materials for assembly.

Manage material handling tasks safely using jib cranes, forklifts, and man lifts.

Perform critical quality inspections to ensure all structural work aligns with engineering tolerances.

Contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence by participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications-
3+ years of experience in structural fitting within a heavy manufacturing or fabrication setting.

Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and fabrication schematics.

Demonstrated expertise in using precision measuring tools and layout techniques.

Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication workflows and welding setup requirements.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs and navigating an industrial environment.

Experience with soldering and specialized metal joining processes.

Proven track record of working effectively both independently and within a collaborative team.

Familiarity with production-based welding setups and industrial safety protocols.
