Job Summary
Our office is growing and we are seeking another dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication skills.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various restorative procedures, including Cerec and Primescan, all general dentistry, implant and endodontics.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Take digital x-rays as needed.
- Manage patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
- Perform vital signs checks and assist in patient assessments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices as needed and post-operative care.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Utilize dental software for record keeping.
