Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing Physical Therapy services in an educational setting near Reserve, LA. This onsite, full-time role allows you to support a diverse group of students across all grade levels within a school environment, traveling between sites as needed. From August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on student mobility and daily function, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for 37.5 hours each week.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current and valid PT State License required
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage an itinerant caseload
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Comfortable providing physical therapy services to students from various age groups and with different needs
- Proficiency in IEP development and progress reporting is beneficial
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver physical therapy services to approximately 35 students across multiple school sites
- Collaborate with teachers, administrative staff, and families to develop student-centered treatment plans
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and accommodations
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student response and evolving needs
- Manage scheduling and travel between school locations within the district
