Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our Montessori lead teacher in creating a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to grow in Montessori education.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
- Support children in developing independence, confidence, and practical life skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
- Help prepare learning materials and classroom displays.
- Communicate professionally with staff and families.
- Follow all school safety and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with young children preferred.
- Montessori experience or training is a plus but not required.
- Positive attitude, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively with a team.
- Must successfully complete required background checks.
