Job Summary
We are located in Bandera, TX and are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Server Food Expeditor to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the crucial link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that food reaches guests promptly, accurately, and at the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is passionate about food service, enjoys working in a lively environment, and has excellent communication skills to coordinate smoothly with kitchen staff and servers. Your efforts will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests while supporting a dynamic team atmosphere.
Duties
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and efficiently before being served to guests.
- Manage the flow of dishes from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
- Verify that all food items meet presentation standards and quality expectations prior to serving.
- Communicate effectively with servers about order status, special requests, or modifications.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness in the service station and dining areas.
- Support food safety practices by handling dishes carefully and adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with team members during busy periods, including bussing tables and helping with food prep when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and proper sanitation procedures.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate efficiently with kitchen staff and servers.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience with food preparation, plating, or banquet service is a plus.
- Hospitality background or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
