Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to keep the dining area inviting and ready for guests
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper food handling and cleaning techniques
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating or organizing ingredients when needed
- Support banquet and catering events by maintaining cleanliness and assisting with setup or breakdown
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by regularly cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining surfaces
- Help bus tables promptly during busy service hours to ensure smooth flow of guests’ experience
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to uphold excellent food service standards and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Knowledge of basic food handling safety procedures and cleaning protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food preparation or culinary activities such as bussing or basic cooking is a plus
- Prior banquet or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
