Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented HVAC Warehouse Helper and Parts Runner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support our install and service technicians by managing parts inventory, assisting with equipment handling, and ensuring smooth operations within our warehouse. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems while working in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence.
Duties
- Retrieve and deliver HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies throughout the warehouse and job sites efficiently
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of HVAC/R equipment including ammonia refrigeration systems and boilers
- Maintain organized storage of parts, tools, and materials in accordance with safety standards
- Support service technicians with schematic reading, equipment repair, and basic maintenance tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of warehouse tools and equipment such as ohmmeters and welding apparatus
- Assist with property maintenance tasks to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and compliant with regulations
- Collaborate with team members on projects involving HVAC design, plumbing components, or refrigeration systems
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, HVAC service technician work, or property maintenance is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge including familiarity with schematics, HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, and refrigeration is a plus
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding, boiler operation or mechanic work is beneficial
- Valid driver’s license for safe transportation of parts between locations
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management
- Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts
