OPERATIONS MANAGER – BACKGROUND SCREENING OPERATIONS
Accurate C&S Services, Inc. is a growing provider of global background screening, drug testing, and occupational health screening services. We are seeking a highly organized, process-driven Operations Manager to report directly to the President and help scale the business through operational excellence, leadership, process improvement, and automation.

Remote Work Eligibility

Role Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing service delivery, developing and enforcing standard operating procedures, improving operational efficiency, supporting financial management, and leading a high-performing team.
The successful candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats while maintaining strong attention to detail, accountability, urgency, and professionalism.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations for background screening, verification, and related service delivery functions.
- Develop, document, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to eliminate manual work, improve accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, service levels, turnaround times, quality metrics, and team performance indicators.
- Manage and develop team members through coaching, training, accountability, and performance management.
- Collaborate with leadership on operational planning, budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and business growth initiatives.
- Review workflows and implement scalable systems to support company growth.
- Manage escalated client issues and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
For Remote Candidates
- Minimum 5 years of operations leadership experience within an employment background screening company.
- Strong understanding of criminal background screening, employment verifications, education verifications, drug testing coordination, and screening operations workflows.
- Working knowledge of FCRA compliance, adverse action processes, data privacy requirements, and industry best practices.

For Local Candidates
- Minimum 5 years of progressive operations leadership experience as an Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or similar role.
- Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency and managing teams in a service-oriented business.

- Experience creating, documenting, and implementing SOPs and operational controls.
- Demonstrated ability to improve workflows and implement process improvements.
- Experience using AI tools and automation platforms to improve operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing budgets, operational reporting, forecasting, and business performance metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
- Background screening industry certifications or compliance experience.
- Experience with CRM, ATS, workflow automation, and reporting platforms.
- Experience scaling operational teams during periods of growth.
- Project management experience.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to contribute to operational growth and performance. As the company grows, compensation and advancement opportunities may increase based on individual contribution and business results.
Pay: $79,819.65 - $82,126.89 per year
