Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plastic Finisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing plastic components to meet precise quality standards, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship and consistency. Light machine work, dexterity with hands, cleaning, prep work, Will train for position, artistic ability is preferred by not mandatory. Your expertise will help us produce top-quality plastic products through meticulous finishing processes, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, and precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify the dimensions and quality of finished plastic parts
- Operate machinery such as press brake machines, lift heavy weights, aware of safety issues, and plastics equipment to refine and shape use of light machines such as buffers, polishers and routers, vacuum forming.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the finishing process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards
- Handle materials safely using proper materials handling techniques and warehouse experience practices
- Fabricate, assemble, and finish plastic parts through processes like plastics molding, vacuum forming , and fabrication techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to plastics machining, finishing, or assembly processes
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments
- Skilled in plastics finishing, sanding, hand polishing, packaging, counting, and inspection
- Experience with machining tools such as hand tools, buffing, machines, and other fabrication equipment
- Ability to perform quality inspections using eyes, artistic ability and counting
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency
- Warehouse experience including materials handling and inventory management skills
- Familiarity with forklift operation for safe movement of materials within the facility

Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour
