POSITION REPORTS TO: SUPERINTENDENT
The position of operator requires the individual to possess the physical and mental ability to perform the following tasks for a minimum of 8 hours per day:
1. Negotiate rough terrain.
2. Climb in and out of heavy machinery to include excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and off road trucks.
3. Stand, stoop, bend, climb, and walk.
4. Purchase, wear and maintain safety equipment as required by the type of work you are performing.
5. Assist the fuel truck when fueling the equipment to include one of the following; greasing the machine or fueling the machine.
6. Have the ability to read cut sheets.
7. Have the ability to read and understand grade stakes.
8. Take direction from the job site superintendent.
9. Fill out a white ticket on a weekly basis to identify problems with the equipment.
10. Clean the tracks after every shift.
11. Assist the lowboy driver by loading or unloading the equipment when it is to be moved.
