Description:
Northridge Local Schools is anticipating seeking a dynamic and passionate Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources (AFNR) Teacher to join our high school team. The ideal candidate will inspire students through hands-on, real-world learning in areas such as agricultural science, animal and plant systems, food production, natural resource management, and environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities include:

Delivering engaging instruction aligned with Ohio AFNR content standards

Leading and advising FFA and other student organizations
-
Coordinating SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) projects
-
Maintaining the school greenhouse, garden, or lab space as applicable
-
Collaborating with local agricultural partners and community stakeholders
Qualifications:
-
Valid Ohio teaching license in Agriculture or CTE AFNR
-
Experience in agriculture education and/or industry preferred
-
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
