Tax Senior / Tax Supervisor
Positions available at our Boulder & Westminster, Colorado locations.
Brock CPAs is a privately held public accounting firm serving clients throughout Colorado, with offices in Boulder, Fort Collins, and Westminster. We are currently seeking experienced Tax Seniors and Tax Supervisors to join our Boulder and Westminster teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tax professional who enjoys taking ownership of engagements, working directly with clients, and helping develop the next generation of accounting professionals.
Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior or Tax Supervisor, you will:
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, closely held businesses, partnerships, corporations, S corporations, and other entity types.
- Lead tax engagements from start to finish, including tax research, planning, projections, and client communication.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients while resolving client concerns
- Review work and provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior tax staff.
Qualifications:
Tax Senior
- 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, leadership, client-service and PC skills including Microsoft Office proficiency (CCH ProSystem fx and/or Axcess experience is a plus.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax experience (1065, 1120, 1120S) is a plus.
Tax Supervisor
- 6+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
- Proven ability to lead tax engagements and supervise and develop staff.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, leadership, client-service and PC skills including Microsoft Office proficiency (CCH ProSystem fx and/or Axcess experience is a plus.)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax experience (1065, 1120, 1120S) is a plus.
- Prior business development experience is a plus.
