Paint Prep & Finish Technician (Full-Time)
PLEASE NOTE :* This role takes up to one year* to fully learn. We are looking for someone who wants to build a life-long career.
TAOD is a small, quality-driven shop working on high-end custom motorhome finishes. This is not a factory or production-line job. We value craftsmanship, consistency, and accuracy. Pay is based on skill-set.
Key Responsibilities
- Frequent/weekly overtime
- Surface prep (sand/wet sand, buff, body work)
- Final detailing and finish work (polish, buff, clean to perfection)
- Assist team members as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Take ownership and pride in high standards of quality and accuracy
Qualifications
- Experience in a custom paint shop is preferred, but we will train the right person
- Thrives under strict quality standards
- Patient, reliable, consistent, career-minded
- Detail-oriented
- Has a passion for craftmanship and continuous improvement
- Willing to learn a very niche, specialized skill
- Positive attitude, respectful, and able to work closely with a small team
- Capable of performing job duties in a non-climate-controlled indoor environment (including extreme heat or cold)
