Job Overview
We are seeking a part time audio editor who is familiar with sound design and music editing as well. The role will dynamically shift with each project.
Duties
- Edit and assemble audio recordings using industry-standard software such as Pro Tools and Logic to produce polished final products.
- Enhance audio quality through signal processing techniques, noise reduction, equalization, and sound design to create immersive listening experiences.
- Synchronize audio with visual elements seamlessly.
- Mix music tracks and sound effects to complement visual content or narrative themes effectively.
- Conduct post-production editing for podcasts, videos, and other multimedia projects with attention to detail and consistency.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to technical standards for audio engineering and content creation.
Experience
- 1-3 years experience working as an Audio Editor or Sound Designer.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of sound design principles, music mixing techniques, and post-production workflows.
- Technical proficiency in audio engineering concepts including signal flow, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while managing multiple deadlines.
