Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking an Assessment and Information Specialist for the Teaching and Learning Division.
The Assessment and Information Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and administration of local, state, and national assessments while ensuring the accuracy, organization, and accessibility of assessment and student data systems. This role works closely with staff across the school to maintain databases, generate reports, support assessment software and technology, and provide operational support for large-scale testing programs including ACT, SAT, AP, and state assessments. Responsibilities include organizing and analyzing assessment data, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, supporting database management, coordinating testing logistics, and serving as a resource to staff on assessment systems and reporting tools. The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide practical assistance, suggestions, and in-depth knowledge of standard word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and assessment software
- Maintain databases and provide support on use and management
- Maintain accurate data files for assessment tools
- Interact with teachers and staff in such a way that promotes a positive customer service environment
- Collaborates with the Administrative Assistant to the AP of T&L and the SSD (Services for Students with Disabilities) Coordinator on the planning and administration of all state and national assessments
- Provides assessment and achievement reports
- Serve as a resource to staff for Stevenson assessment software programs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required and completed post high school business training (college or trade school coursework) and/or experience in business preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Detailed-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, student, parents, and the community
- Knowledge of office technology and procedures
- Experience with the Google suite
Salary:
SSSA Agreement (all support staff positions at Stevenson High School shall be paid no less than $18.00/hour). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
