Summary
We are seeking a Production Assistant to join our dynamic team at Better Bagels. This role is essential in supporting our production operations and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality bagels. Located in Boston, this position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a beloved local brand. We are looking for applicants who can work Friday and Saturday evenings from 330pm-12am, along with 1-2 other nights. Full time hours available for the right candidate. Parking provided if needed
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of bagels and other baked goods.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards throughout the production process.
- Support the baking team by monitoring oven temperatures and baking times.
- Help with food handling and packaging of finished products for distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and production areas.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic baking skills are a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality.
