Hospital Development Liaison (Donation Coordinator)

Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network is seeking a dedicated Hospital Development Liaison to join our mission-driven team. This field-based position develops and maintains effective relationships with key hospital leadership staff in assigned territory to implement hospital programs and policies that promote organ and tissue donation; conducts on-site assessment and evaluation of potential organ donors and follows referrals in an assigned region that includes the South Side of Chicago and South Suburbs of Chicago.
This role requires driving to your portfolio of assigned hospitals within this territory.
Compensation range for this position is $73,657 - $82,865 annually.

The Role: Hospital Development Liaison
As our Hospital Development Liaison, you'll be on the frontlines of our life-saving mission, working directly with hospital leadership teams throughout Chicago's South Side region.
This field-based position combines relationship building, education, data analysis, and direct involvement in the donation process. We have two territories available: Chicago (South Side and South Suburbs) and Lake County, IN.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the face of Gift of Hope at your portfolio of assigned hospitals
- Build and nurture relationships with hospital leadership to optimize donation processes
- Develop and implement customized hospital plans to improve donation outcomes
- Conduct on-site evaluations of potential organ donors
- Analyze data and prepare reports on donation performance
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop creative solutions
- Deliver educational programs to hospital staff on all aspects of donation
- Participate in medical rounds with neuro and trauma services
- Coordinate Patient Care Conferences during critical points in the donation process
- This position will provide lots of opportunity for data analysis, project management and process improvement initiatives.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, or clinical settings
- Strong persuasive communication skills to influence senior hospital leadership
- Data analysis capabilities to track and interpret donation outcomes
- Ability to work autonomously while representing our organization professionally
- Creative problem-solving skills to address the unique needs of hospitals, families, and Gift of Hope
- Reliable transportation for regular travel to hospitals within your assigned territory
