Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Echocardiography Technician to join our cardiovascular imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of cardiac ultrasound imaging, with a focus on delivering precise diagnostic evaluations. Duties
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, including ultrasound machines and Picture Archiving ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes.
- Analyze cardiac rhythm patterns, vital signs, and physiological data to support comprehensive cardiovascular assessments.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information in compliance with medical terminology standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in echocardiography, vascular ultrasound imaging, or related cardiovascular technology fields.
- Familiarity with Cardiology principles, physiology knowledge, and cardiac diagnostics methodologies.
- Proficiency in operating medical equipment such as ultrasound machines, PACS systems, and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to cardiovascular health and anatomy.
- Ability to perform detailed cardiac rhythm analysis and interpret vital signs accurately
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
- Certification as an Echocardiography Technician (e.g., RDCS or RCS) is preferred; relevant training in cardiovascular technology is required.
