Marketing Specialist
Our firm is rapidly growing and we are seeking a self-motivated person who wants to join a dynamic, growing company. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position in Louisville, KY. The Marketing Specialist will assist in ensuring that the company portrays a positive and vibrant image to the greater community and our clients.
Accountabilities
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Sterling Thompson Company’s social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Assist in planning, writing, and managing monthly company eNewsletter.
- Responsible for the design of flyers, graphics, e-vites and other marketing materials for events hosted or sponsored by Sterling Thompson Company.
- Collaborate with department directors and advisors in the creation of email campaigns.
- Assist sales team with data entry for suspect, prospect, and client marketing purposes.
- Collaborating with colleagues on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications.
- Gain familiarity with the use of bulk email development programs (training for Applied Marketing Automation provided).
- Evaluate current client service processes and implement solutions to better align with clients’ needs.
- Drive growth through client engagement and retention initiatives.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing (preferred).
- Strong familiarity with and use of social media platforms for marketing communications such as: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work full time in-office hours Monday – Friday.
- Attendance at evening and weekend events may be necessary on occasion.
