We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy shifts.
- Support food handling procedures by delivering food and beverages to tables accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and specials to provide accurate information to guests when needed.
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation practices throughout the restaurant.
- Help maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing dishes and resetting tables as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is required.
- Familiarity with Chowbus POS system is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
