Duties
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing workforce aligned with company standards.
- Manage payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost sales and enhance store visibility.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to promote excellent customer service skills and operational knowledge.
- Monitor sales performance using retail math principles; set targets, analyze reports, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and legal regulations; handle cashiering duties and customer inquiries professionally.
- Supervise shift management, organize staffing schedules, and manage time effectively to meet business needs.

Qualifications
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and store budgeting practices.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, stock control, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Previous assistant manager or shift supervisor experience is preferred; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery retail is advantageous.
