Civil CAD Designer – Northern Virginia
Responsibilities:
- Prepare civil engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Develop grading, drainage, utility, erosion & sediment control, and site layout plans.
- Assist engineers with design calculations and plan production.
- Revise drawings based on client and agency comments.
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers throughout project development.
- Ensure drawings meet company, client, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- 1–20 years of Civil CAD drafting/design experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
- Experience with land development, site design, or civil infrastructure projects preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
