The Majestic Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Assistant Director of Food Services / Cook Candidate must be able to work in fast paced environment and supervise support staff.
Responsibilities of Assistant Director of Food Services / Cook:
Assisting Director in Managing Department
Ordering through food procurement system as needed.
Working with Dietary Manager online program.
Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and procedures
Ensure that safety regulations and precautions are followed at all times by all personnel
Follow established Infection Control Precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks
Assist and direct daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
Ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained
Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to the Food Service Director immediately
Assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times
Requirements of Assistant Director of Food Services / Cook:
High School Graduate/ High school or equivalent
Cooking background in long-term care facility and /or Culinary Education
Knowledge of food sanitation and batch cooking
Long Term Care Cooking Required: 2 year
Safe Serve Certification Required or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Computer Experience required .
