American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Oklahoma City, requiring active RN licensure, L&D-specific certifications, and a minimum of one year of experience.

Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

13-week contract

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required

Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred

Required certifications (American Heart Association only): BLS, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor

Basic computer skills required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, documenting patient responses to nursing interventions, assisting physicians during exams and minor procedures, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, and managing IV infusions and blood products

Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract (prior contracts are limited to one extension, for a maximum of 26 weeks total)

Compliance requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must be completed promptly after offer acceptance; the facility is strict with compliance deadlines and will not negotiate start dates
