Junior Recruiter – Temporary 3 Month Role
The Arc of San Diego – Talent Acquisition
The Arc of San Diego is looking for a motivated and detail oriented Junior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team for a temporary 3 month assignment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR or recruiting career who wants hands on experience in a mission driven organization.
Status: Part Time
Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30-2
Pay: The pay for this position is $22 to $22.00 per hour.
What You’ll Do
- Perform key administrative recruiting tasks
- Screen applications and conduct initial phone screens
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers
- Perform reference checks and assist with offer letters and pre employment steps
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS
- Create flyers and recruitment materials
- Assist with job fairs, hiring events, and onboarding activities
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of HR, recruiting, or administrative support experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and know when to seek guidance
- Experience with ATS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
