Welder-Mig
Pay Rate $18.00 - $22.00
Job Summary: Responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and production specifications. Ensures all welds meet quality standards while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Fit, align, and assemble metal parts prior to welding.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.
- Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, and other precision tools.
- Repair defective welds and make adjustments as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with general fabrication and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
