Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance professional to join and lead our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment. This role requires a strong understanding of various maintenance tasks, including electrical work, painting, and the ability to read schematics. The General Maintenance worker will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall functionality of our residential properties.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facilities to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Utilize an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Manage and oversee facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics for various systems within the facility.
- Skilled in water leak detection, minor plumbing repairs, clogged drains, painting, minor drywall repair
- Work with logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Strong ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Previous supervisory experience in a maintenance setting is advantageous.
- Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is essential.
