Luce Line Brewing Co is the first craft brewery and taproom in Plymouth, Minnesota- located directly on the Luce Line Regional Trail. We make beer the way it’s meant to be made- hand-crafted from the finest malts, hops, and essential ingredients. We believe that local products create local pride- and locally produced beer tastes best when it’s fresh from the source. Our goal is to be a community leader as a gathering spot for socializing, art and music enjoyment, beer-friendly food, and appreciation of the art of brewing.
Job Title: Beertender-Opener- Starting At 2pm Monday-Thursday, and 11am Friday-Sunday.
Reports to: Tap Room Manager
The Beertender is the initial contact for visitors to our tasting room. The primary function of this position is to guide guests in beer selection and enjoyment, while providing exceptional customer service. The position is part time, with more hours available as scheduling permits. We are seeking an individual who is willing to cover shifts as needed in addition to their regular planned schedule.
Responsibilities:
Willingness to engage customers, explain beer options, & take drink and food orders
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age per state standards
Know when someone should not be served (over served; intoxication)
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies when needed
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Maintain cleanliness of brewery, bathrooms, and patio
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Love for craft beer is a must!
Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Excellent knowledge of beer and serving
Computer/register/POS literacy
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
High level of cleanliness
TIPS training required before first shift
21+ years of age
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for 5+ hours at a time
Able to regularly twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, crawl, lift, and carry equipment weighing up to 55 pounds
Able to work around noise and slippery brewery floors
Able to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards
