Position Summary
The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and professional environment. This role is responsible for greeting members, managing check-ins, answering inquiries, handling membership-related tasks, and supporting daily club operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Check members into the facility and verify membership status.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to questions regarding memberships, amenities, classes, and club policies.
- Schedule appointments for membership consultations and club tours.
- Process membership enrollments, renewals, and updates as needed.
- Address member concerns and escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
- Monitor guest sign-ins and ensure compliance with club policies.
- Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and filing.
- Promote club programs, personal training services, and special events.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive member experience.
- Make phone calls to correct billing issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service, receptionist, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working in an active fitness club environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.92 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
