Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team for Bajeko Sekuwa Nepalese and Indian Cuisine . Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take beverage and food orders accurately, and serve with enthusiasm to ensure a positive dining experience
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Process cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting for repeat guests
- Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management proactively
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate service flow during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders while maintaining high-quality service standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles such as bartender or server, with fine dining.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, brewing processes, and beverage recipe development
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using strong time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and responsible alcohol service regulations
- Experience with retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Basic math skills necessary for order calculations and inventory management; catering or banquet experience is a plus
