Network Administrator
Primary Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support to end users or various contracted third parties to resolve connectivity issues.
· Manage and maintain third party network connections and ISP circuits.
o Create and maintain internal documentation.
· Work with various third parties to manage:
o Annual Network Assessments to address network vulnerabilities.
o Oversee change management as it relates to Networking.
o Implement/strengthen monitoring/alerting for network devices and ISP connections.
o Manage overall network device health according to standard hardware lifecycles.
o Evaluate performance for potential bottlenecks and implement remediation plans to address.
· Proficiency in Cisco Networking and their various concepts, including but not limited to: Routers, Switches, Meraki.
o Topics including, but not limited to: VPN, VLANs, BGP/AS/EBGP, TACACs, Routing/Switching.
· Working knowledge in NGFW concepts and configurations.
· Familiarity with Network Discovery Tools (e.g. Nmap, NetBrain, etc)
· Assist other teams/departments on Bank-wide initiatives, technical issues, optimizations and/or implementing new services or technologies.
· Ability to travel to Headquarters and branch locations across Southern NY, and MA.
· Participate in regular monthly on-call rotation and provide after-hour coverage and support, as needed.
· Participate in regular Internal Audits and regulatory exams.
· Participate in regularly scheduled BCP-DR exams internally and with relevant third parties.
· Keeping abreast of new technologies, best practices and emerging threats in the IT landscape.
· In office presence required three days a week, with rotating Fridays.
· Ability to communicate effectively to non-technical colleagues and support vendors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· CCNA or greater
· Bachelor’s or Greater

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
