Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and surrounding areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Support catering events and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service.
- Help with bussing tables during busy service hours to ensure a smooth flow of guests’ dining experience.
- Follow food handling safety procedures diligently to prevent contamination or spoilage.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service and food preparation activities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including bussing, food handling, and cleaning practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards across all work areas.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures is a plus.
