Job Summary
As a Caregiver with Care Luxe LLC, you’ll provide essential non-medical services to clients in the comfort of their homes. This includes assistance with daily living activities, light housekeeping, companionship, and reliable communication with our care team. Please Note: We are seeking a caregiver who is available to work a few evenings per week from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM and every other weekend between 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Additionally, please be aware that the client is a heavy smoker. Comfort with a smoking environment is required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs according to dietary plans.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client status and any concerns.
- Record and report any changes in the client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition to your supervisor
- Accurately document all visits and tasks using the agency-approved Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system—use of EVV is mandatory
- Follow all safety protocols and care plans to ensure client safety at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience working as a caregiver or in home health services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Experience with geriatrics, post-acute care, or medical-surgical patients is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a compassionate attitude are essential for success in this role.
Requirements
- Valid American Red Cross CPR Certification
- Current negative TB test results
