Position: Class B Delivery Driver
Objective: Reliable and safety-focused Class B Delivery Driver with experience transporting landscaping and irrigation materials seeking to contribute to efficient operations at a landscape and irrigation company. Committed to timely deliveries, proper handling of equipment and supplies, and maintaining strong communication with team members and customers to support project success.
Pay: $18-$23/hour

Job Description:
Operate Class B commercial vehicles to deliver landscaping and irrigation materials, including plants, soil, mulch, piping, and equipment, to residential and commercial job sites. Load and unload materials safely using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage. Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintain delivery logs, and comply with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and crew leaders to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. Provide professional customer service on-site and assist with basic yard or site organization when needed. This position is day-shift only, and does not require overnight travel.
Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
· Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle to transport landscaping and irrigation materials to job sites.
· Load, secure, and unload materials such as plants, soil, mulch, gravel, pipes, and irrigation equipment.
· Verify delivery orders for accuracy and completeness before departure and upon arrival.
· Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
· Maintain delivery records, logs, and any required compliance documentation.
· Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
· Provide courteous and professional service to customers and team members at delivery locations.
· Assist with organizing materials in the yard or at job sites when needed.
· Adapt to changing delivery routes, weather conditions, and project timelines.
· Ability to safely operate and maneuver a Class B vehicle in various environments, including tight residential and commercial spaces.
· Physical stamina to perform repetitive loading and unloading tasks throughout the day.
· Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
· Effective communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and customers.
· Ability to follow directions, schedules, and safety procedures consistently.
· Basic problem-solving skills to address delivery or site challenges as they arise.
· Reliable attendance and punctuality to meet delivery deadlines and operational needs.
Job Qualifications
Experience & Education
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent learning experience
· Must be able to learn and complete all training requirements for the position
· Insurable driving record (no DUI’s or reckless driving infractions within the last 5 years)
· Must hold a Class B CDL driver's license
