Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems such Clover applications
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Ensure food safety standards are followed during food handling and preparation
- Assist with food service tasks such as milk tea, smoothies, frap, coffee, lemonades, etc.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Clover Applications, Uber eats
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Experience in the food industry or retail environment is advantageous
- Basic understanding of food preparation and serving techniques
