Overview
Bravery Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent for our luxury residential division who is deeply focused on craftsmanship, quality control, organization, and delivering an exceptional final product.
This is not a high-volume production builder position. We are looking for someone who understands luxury residential construction, pays attention to detail, communicates professionally, and takes pride in building homes the right way.
Our projects include custom homes, high-end additions, and large-scale residential remodels throughout the Tampa Bay area.
Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee all field operations for luxury residential projects from site preparation through completion while ensuring the highest level of workmanship, coordination, cleanliness, and client experience.
Projects may include:
- Luxury custom homes
- Elevated homes
- Large-scale home remodels
- Complex additions and renovations
- Design-build residential projects
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, proactive, organized, and capable of managing trades with a strong emphasis on quality rather than simply speed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day field operations on luxury residential construction projects
- Manage custom homes, additions, and large-scale remodels from demolition through final completion
- Ensure all work is performed to Bravery Construction quality standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and scheduling
- Review plans and details thoroughly before work begins
- Identify and correct quality issues early before they become costly problems
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites at all times
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, architects, engineers, designers, and project management
- Manage construction sequencing to ensure proper installation methods and craftsmanship
- Perform daily walkthroughs and quality inspections
- Coordinate and verify material selections, finishes, layouts, and field dimensions
- Maintain project documentation including photos, progress updates, and field notes
- Ensure compliance with Florida building codes, plans, and safety requirements
- Protect finished surfaces and maintain a high-end client experience throughout construction
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience supervising residential construction
- Strong experience with custom homes, additions, and large-scale remodels
- Thorough understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP plans
- Strong eye for detail and finish quality
- Experience managing high-end finishes and custom details
- Professional communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented
- Reliable transportation and smartphone
- Florida residential construction experience strongly preferred
