McDonald’s is looking for a dedicated and organized People Manager to support our restaurant team at the store level. The People Manager works closely with the General Manager and leadership team to ensure a positive employee experience by supporting hiring, training, scheduling support, compliance, and team engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with people, staying organized, and helping teams succeed in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
People & Culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for crew member questions related to policies, scheduling, pay, and benefits
- Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
Hiring & Onboarding
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring paperwork, and onboarding
- Ensure new hires complete required training, certifications, and orientation
- Maintain accurate employee files and documentation
Training & Development
- Track training progress and support crew and manager development
- Coordinate training schedules and ensure compliance with McDonald’s training standards
Compliance & Administration
- Support timekeeping, scheduling, and payroll accuracy
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality
Support to Leadership
- Partner with the General Manager and leadership team on staffing, performance management, and workforce planning
- Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and documentation as needed
Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We're looking for positive team players with a flexible schedule who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast paced McDonald's environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
