Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse management systems and inventory management software to track stock levels, process shipments, and update records accurately
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order picker equipment, pallet jacks, and other tools
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods in accordance with shipping & receiving protocols
- Maintain organized storage by stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and conducting regular stock counts
- Assist with packaging products securely for shipping while adhering to trade compliance and international trade regulations when necessary
- Enter data into ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms to ensure precise record keeping and order processing
- Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating logistics, managing shipping logistics schedules, and ensuring timely deliveries
Skills
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory management software such as ERP or MRP platforms
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and load & unload operations
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and order picker equipment safely and effectively (certification preferred)
- Basic math skills for counting stock, measuring dimensions, and verifying quantities accurately
- Excellent data entry skills using Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes
- Customer service mindset to assist team members or external partners when needed
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, logistics processes, stocking techniques, and trade compliance regulations
