Job Summary
Southern Touch Bakery, Coffee Shop & Cafe is seeking a dependable, motivated Shift Lead to help oversee daily operations in our fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role is responsible for leading kitchen operations, supporting staff, ensuring food quality and service standards and serving as a key team leader during the shift. Your leadership will help create a lively, efficient, and welcoming environment where both staff and guests thrive. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of service
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to maintain quality and safety standards
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management and ordering to minimize waste
- Train new team members on food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments with a focus on food preparation and cooking
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
- Supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles with a focus on team management and training
- Familiarity with inventory control, food safety practices, and food production processes
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Experience in food management, catering, or banquet settings is a plus
- Knowledge of kitchen management, food handling regulations, and hospitality standards

Reports To: Owner/Management Team
Pay: Hourly Plus Tips (Based on experiences and qualifications)
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
