Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers across extensive over-the-road routes, adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations.
- Connect and disconnect trailers at designated terminals or customer locations, ensuring secure and proper load handling.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement.
- Load and unload freight when necessary, utilizing equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, while following safety protocols.
- Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered on the road.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo details in compliance with Hours of Service regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and at least one year of commercial driving experience.
- Experience hauling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized freight such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of load & unload procedures and securing freight using appropriate equipment.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Familiarity with route driving best practices and safety regulations governing commercial trucking.
Compensation
- 31% of Gross Load Pay
- Average truck gross: $9,000 – $11,000 per truck weekly
- Driver earning potential: $2,700 – $3,300+ weekly
- Paid weekly via direct deposit
- Flexible home time options
Owner Operator (optional)
- Qualified company drivers may become eligible for our truck ownership program to assist in helping those interested in becoming an owner operator.
