Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or HSC/GED equivalent
Experience working with children ages 6-17
Experience working with children with behaviors a Plus.
Able to pass a background check and fingerprints.
Able to pass a drug screen.
Duties
-Light cleaning
- Prepare meals such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
- Pass medications
- Model good mannerisms, encourage general life skills, encourage proper hygiene
- Supervise children
- Recreational activities with children such as play time at the park, board games, puzzles, sports, art activities, etc.
Requirements:
- Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with working in the mental health field is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children.
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
